Job roles & Responsibilities:

• 3-8 years of experience in design of automotive components and systems using Catia.
• Mechanism concept design experience would be preferred.
• CAD design – 3D and 2D in CATIA V5: Efficient 3D model creation for latch components, sub-assemblies and
  assemblies.
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing for part drawings. Understanding the tolerances assigned on
  existing drawings an also assigning tolerances for new drawings.
• Product Knowledge in automotive Closure system(preferred). At least experience in different mechanism
  design.
• Basic travel and effort calculation for latch mechanisms, position kinematics for mechanisms will be
  advantageous.
• Knowledge in design considerations for sheet metal, plastic design and manufacturing (DFM and DFA)
• Basic level knowledge of heat treatment, material science and manufacturing science is desirable.
• Interpretation of technical specification and understanding and ability to define and analyze problems, collect
  data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and solutions.
