ASM developed an Electronic Keyboard Concentrator (a PC bilingual in Hindi and English). It consists of a Message Switch and Store and Forward options. The product features enable it to handle upto 16 lines. These can either be the omnibus line or the teleprinter line. The port link used to connect is the RS-232-C line. Upto 8 EKBs can be connected on a single omnibus line.
An advanced Protocol System ensures error-free communication between the EKBC and the EKB. Communication between the EKBC and the EKB can be conducted in Hindi or English. It can be connected to an existing SFMSS using the SFT-141 protocol. Two EKBCs can be connected using a TP or a RS-232-C link. In-built operator utilities help you retrieve and retransmit messages sent earlier. Error messages can be edited. Messages are sent or received in the ISTF format, ensuring compatibility with existing DOT message switches. |
