Background
The client is Asia's biggest oil and gas implementation apart from being India's largest private sector enterprise and a major player in the Indian petrochemicals sector. It also has one of the largest marketing networks in the Indian industry and accounts for over 1% of India's GDP and almost 1.5% of the government's total revenue receipts.
Work Done
As part of the project, ASM installed IXOS Archive Storage, defined an efficient data archiving strategy, implemented archiving objects, trained on IXOS data archiving solution and undertook a detailed analysis of a client's database, volumes, growth etc. to arrive at an efficient archiving strategy. The team undertook the customization and modification of SAP archive access tools according to the client's specific access needs.
