Condolence meeting for Dr.Srikantan, Fellow CSI and Organising Chair CSI 76 at Hyderabad was held on 24th August. Sh CD Murthy, Hon. Treasurer, CSI, who worked with him for many years took the lead in organising this meet which was well attended by very senior colleagues of Dr.Srikantan. Chapter Chairman, Sh Amarnath Rao paid rich tributes to Dr.Srikantan, referring to him as the Father of Indian IT Industry. Highlight of the evening was Prof. DVR Vithal's tribute , who knew Dr.S Srikantan from 1951.
