Lakshmanan Isola Private Limited was promoted in the year 1976 in collaboration with The Swiss Insulating Works Limited (ISOLA). The company has technical tie-up and equity participation with the Swiss Insulating Works Limited, Breitenbach, Switzerland (ISLOLA) who is the world leader in the manufacture of electrical insulating materials in the application for high voltage electrical equipment. The company started production in 1980, meeting the requirements of Indian Electrical equipment manufacturers for Turbo Alternators, Water Wheel Alternators, High Voltage Motors, Traction Motors & domestic appliances such as Toasters, Hair Dryers, Irons etc. These products are well established and have received wide customer acceptance. The plant is strategically situated in Achalu Village, Ramanagaram, on the banks of the river Arkavathy, a tributary of the Cauvery River (60 km from Bangalore, India - off the Bangalore - Mysore Highway).
