Advanced Synergic Microsystems Limited is now planning a major Rs.4.5-crore expansion program to develop and market a range of computer software as well as hardware.

This was announced here on Monday by Mr. K. Sundar and MR S. Rabindra, directors.

The company develops CAD/CAM technology software, and caters to the high engineering-oriented application needs of defence and public and private sectors.

The directors said they were also tying up with Computer Vision and Silicon Graphics Inc. of USA, for the purpose, besides the augmentation of the existing facilities for the new project aimed at software exports.

The company has been actively involved in conception, analysis and first prototype of the prestigious LCA project, besides being involved in systems designing for PSLV and other defence-oriented projects, they said.

To meet the financial requirements for its project, the company is planning to enter the capital market with a public issue of 1,85,00,000 equity shares of Rs.10 each for cash at par aggregating Rs.1.85-crore, which has been slated for some time in February 1994.
