Advanced Synergic tie-up with Silicon Graphics

Advanced Synergic Microsystems Ltd., has entered into a value-added reseller agreement with Silicon Graphics, USA, for the latter's engineering workstations.
Disclosing this to newsmen here on Monday, Dr.S.Srikantan said that under this three year agreement, Advanced Synergic will port its software on Silicon Graphics computers to offer total solutions to customers of Silicon Graphics.
Silicon Graphics is one of the leading global companies in the area of visual computing, with revenues of more than $ one billion. It figures among the Fortune 500 companies.
Advanced Synergic Microsystems Ltd., is entering the capital market with a public issue of 18,50,000 equity shares of Rs.10 each for cash at par aggregating Rs.185 lakh. The company is setting up facilities in Bangalore to develop and market a wide range of computer software/hardware for both domestic and export market.
Its activities include systems engineering and value-added reselling through distributorships of leading software/hardware systems, software development, consultancy and training for turnkey solutions in computer aided design (CAD) and computer aided manufacturing (CAM) among others. The company has Specialised in CAD/CAM, and caters to the requirements of the defence sector, and private/public engineering companies.
The total cost of the project is Rs. 4.6 crore and it has been apprised by the Industrial Bank of India (IDBI). The object of the issue is to part finance the project.
The company has tied up with Computer Vision, USA, for distributing its products in the Indian Market. Its existing tie-ups include those with Structural research and Analysis Corporation, Point Control Co., among others.
Advanced Synergic Microsystems Ltd., has started exporting software to the US. The company will establish overseas subsidiaries/offices in the US and the South-East Asia. It also has plans to set up a chain of training centers all over country to provide Specialised training.
