ASML & DACG to partner in 3 year outsourcing contract
Strategic alliance will spearhead new market initiatives

Bangalore, April 27, 2000 - Advanced Synergic Microsystems Limited (ASML), a software development company providing 'e-business Solutions for the Enterprise' today announced a 3 year outsourcing contract with DA Consulting Group pte Ltd, a worldwide leader in providing end-user services to Global Fortune 1000 companies. Within the 3 year contract ASML shall represent the various offering of DACG in India and the ASEAN countries.

Building upon its leadership in Enterprise Solutions related training and consulting, ASML & DACG has identified various strategic thrusts for the new millennium - e-commerce, knowledge management, enhancement of end-user support, change management and co-sourcing services. ASML will partner DACG in developing their e-business offering like cataloguing, web trading solutions and vertical portals. ASML will also represent DACG to market, sell, implement and support these solutions in the Asia South region.

In this contract, DACG and ASML will cooperate to promote the following initiatives:

E-commerce services: ASML & DACG 's offerings will include cataloguing, B2B procurement, development of business and consumer portals, payment services, auctioning, supplier management and related areas services, and the development of Enterprise Information Portals (EIP).ASML & DACG is aggressively positioning EIPs as the intra-enterprise, technology framework for knowledge management.

Knowledge Management (KM) services to be delivered around SAP's Knowledge Warehouse suite. The SAP Knowledge Warehouse can also be delivered with content created at SAP, including training courses, instructor guides, and associated materials; and documentation and related content. ASML & DACG will also deliver solutions around other products from companies such as Microsoft and Lotus.

Enhancement of business in customized end-user education. This includes computer - based training (CBT), instructor-led training (ILT), web - based training (WBT), distance learning or Net based learning, small group/one-on-one training.
